Flight Training Courses

Whether your dream is to fly for business, pleasure, or as a profession, SkyVenture Aviation, Inc. has a training plan to help you achieve your goal.

SkyVenture operates the Cessna Pilot Center at the Jonesboro Municipal Airport (KJBR) located in Jonesboro, AR and at the Drake Field Airport (KFYV) located in Fayetteville, AR. We are a full service FAA Part 141 Approved Pilot School offering all fixed-wing pilot certificates and ratings. Accelerated training programs are available for all courses.

How long does it take

You can earn your Private Pilot Certificate in as little as 35 hours or your Commercial Pilot Certificate in as little as 190 hours of flight training! An accelerated Multi Engine Rating can be completed in three to four days. All flight training courses are self paced.

Cessna Pilot Center

As a Cessna Pilot Center, SkyVenture is proud to offer late model Cessna Aircraft for training and rental. All aircraft are clean, maintained to the highest standards, and include modern avionics. Most aircraft are equipped with approach certified GPS units, full autopilot with altitude preselect, and some even have Garmin G1000 instrument panels and weather display capability (FIS Systems).

Computer Based Instruction

Best of all, at our Cessna Pilot Centers you will train using a structured approach. Using our Computer Based Instruction (CBI), you will have the advantage of using state-of-the-art ground training materials. Gone are the days of thick textbooks and awkward, inefficient methods. The Cessna CBI training kits consist of interactive, multimedia CDs. For each flight lesson, there is a companion ground lesson on CD that you can complete in the comfort of your home or office. Or if you prefer, you may use one of our computers to complete the ground lesson at our flight school. Either way, you simply insert the CD, watch the video, and answer the questions at the end of each chapter. Miss a question? No problem. The program will automatically take you back to the appropriate part of the video to give you another chance to learn that part of the lesson! We find that this approach will save you time and better prepare you to become a safe and qualified pilot.
