I recently earned my multi-engine rating at SkyVenture's Jonesboro location. The operation is first class from start to finish. Competent, thorough and friendly administrative staff, skilled professional instructors and caring, involved ownership. SkyVenture is a great flight school and I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

I earned my initial Commercial Pilot certificate (multi-engine) at SkyVenture in 2004. Recently, one of their instructors gave me an Instrument Proficiency Check and dual for the Wings program in my own aircraft. SkyVenture's owners and their staff run a professional operation and offer a fleet of modern aircraft for rent. We are fortunate to have this flight school in Jonesboro.

If you've ever dreamed of flying, then SkyVenture will make it easy. In just a few months, I've gone from not knowing how to fly, to now I'm about to have my Commercial License. The staff is very professional and easy to get along with.

I received my Private Pilot's License in July of 2007 with SkyVenture Aviation in Jonesboro. When I first began my flight training endeavor, it was quite overwhelming -then SkyVenture Aviation put my mind at ease. I had a wonderful experience with everyone I came in contact with. Everyone is very accommodating, the staff is wonderful, the new G1000 equipment makes things so simple and an airplane being down for maintenance was never an issue. I continue to rent aircraft from SkyVenture each month. They have made me a confident pilot and I feel that I can control the airplane in the safe manner.

I wanted to thank you for an outstanding experience while completing my MEI rating during your 2-3 day course. I have attended other flight schools while attaining my other ratings, but I felt your staff provided me with more one-on-one attention than any other flight school I have attended. I would like to thank you for the great training I received at your facility. My instructor was top notch. Instructor Houston Hart has great knowledge with impeccable skills in teaching flight training. He also had understanding and patience with me. Truly he is a professional. I came to SkyVenture after receiving a private pilots license at another part 141 school about 10 years earlier. I was afraid that it would be almost like starting over, after not flying for more than five years. The staff and instructors at SkyVenture made it a wonderful experience from day one. After receiving a few hours of refresher flying and ground school, I decided to go ahead with my instrument training. The instruction that I got was top notch! I trained in new aircraft with GPS, autopilot (which I couldn't use...lol), and probably the best instructors I'd ever flown with. I passed both the written exam and my checkride the first time out...with flying colors I might add. The experience was so good, in fact, I am about 20 hours away from a commercial checkride. Thanks guys, for getting an old fly boy back in the seat.

I just wanted to take a moment and express my thanks to Sky Venture Aviation and your selves for giving me the avenue to learn and earn my private pilots license.

Even as professional angler, this has been a blessing to my carrier to be able to cover much larger areas from above and see many back water areas that from a boat I never would have. I have always wondered looking at birds diving into the water how they are able to see what they are going after but let me tell you, flying at 1,200 above just Lake Poinsett, I understand and see what the birds are seeing and doing. It is something that words cannot explain and like fishing one must do it to understand and I would encourage every one to at least one time go and experience.

Not just in my fishing carrier has this been a benefit, but also in my business dealings. I am able to go and see clients that are 300 miles away and back home the same day to be able to start the project the very next day. This is success that is measured in not only a company survivable but also for the customer’s satisfaction and success.

I can't thank you guys enough for your hospitality, and am highly impressed by the quality and professionalism of SkyVenture. I have been around aviation for a long time, have seen many flight schools, and would have to say without reservation your operation ranks with the best. I really appreciate you going out of your way to accommodate me over the holiday weekend. Your instuctors, aircraft, and facility are all first-class. It was a genuine pleasure!
